Emily has strategized and implemented digital marketing campaigns for a diverse client list of large and small corporations across the entertainment, fashion, health, insurance, and political arenas. She has been successful in converting abstract business goals into comprehensive paid media strategies and has delivered substantial and measurable results utilizing in-depth market research, campaign management, process workflows, and analysis. She established the digital marketing vertical for a socially conscious and innovative insurance company, conceptualizing and executing across paid and organic channels and directing their digital acquisition strategy.
Emily graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University with a science degree in Mathematical Economics. While a student there, she began her consulting practice specializing in online and offline marketing and brand development. Emily holds a series of digital marketing credentials, including Google AdWords and Facebook Blueprint Certification. Emily is a strong advocate for women’s issues, including health, pay equality, gender bias, corporate management and board representation, and equality in educational opportunities. She was an executive board member, facilitator, and advocate for PREPARE, an organization at Wake Forest focused on the prevention and response to sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking. Her focus on women’s health and nutrition led to her certifications as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, INHC, as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT-200.
