Gratitude Mondays ~ 2.24.14
/Welcome to the start of a two-week countdown. Between now and next Friday, I will write one paper, take one quiz, and finish two exams. I’m so excited. Let these next couple weeks be filled with fun, tight schedules, and no anxiety. How was everyone’s weekend? Anything exciting? I’d love to hear from you!
But let’s take some time to be grateful today.
I am grateful for Tedx talks that make me think.
I am grateful for adventures.
I am grateful for best friends.
I am grateful for long dinners, good ice cream, and much needed going out.
I am grateful for 70 degree Sundays and studying out on the patio.
I am grateful for ladybugs. Lots and lots of ladybugs.
I am grateful for huge crushes on boys that are gorgeous and smart and athletic.
I am grateful for an alarm placed across my room.
I am grateful for the gym now opening up an hour earlier than last semester.
I am grateful for no TA’s teaching my classes.
I am grateful for a Starbucks in my library serving venti black coffees.
I am grateful for yellow planners that keep me organized and mechanical pencils that make erasing easy.
I am grateful for FaceTime so I can stay in touch with those I love.
I am grateful for the moon.
I am grateful for the briskness in the air that reminds my lungs I am alive.
I am grateful for little yellow ribbons reminding us each minute and moment in life are precious and must be cherished.
Lastly, I am grateful for this day and this time that is filled with hectic schedules and burdened shoulders but also funny anecdotes and joyous laughter.
Have a lovely Monday and remember, with coffee comes smiles.
