Want to know how to phrase the most respectful introduction? When you are introducing someone, always begin with their name and then follow with their relation to you. Here is an example:
Wrong: This is my business partner and friend, Kelci.
Right: This is Kelci, my business partner and friend.
By phrasing it this way, you place the emphasis on the person rather than their connection to you. I've been doing this for about five years, and while it isn't a huge deal, it makes such a lovely difference.
